Story:

Leymah Gbowee is a Liberian peace activist, who was responsible for leading a women's peace movement that helped bring an end to the Second Liberian Civil War in 2003. Together with her collaborator Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Gbowee helped enabled a free election in 2005 in which Sirleaf won. Their efforts resulted in a period of peace. Lehman Gbowee was a co-recipient of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize with Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Tawakkul Karman.
