Jane Chen is the co-founder of Embrace, a non-profit section 501(c)(3) organization working to advance maternal and child health. She currently serves as the Chief Business Officer of Embrace Innovations, a related company that is developing innovative healthcare technologies such as an award-winning low-cost warmer to help premature babies in developing countries. Prior to Embrace, Jane worked extensively in healthcare focused social enterprises across developing countries. She served as Program Director of a startup HIV/AIDS non-profit organization in China and also worked for the Clinton Foundation?s HIV/AIDS Initiative in Tanzania. Jane was also a management consultant at Monitor Group, advising Fortune 500 companies in Asia Pacific in strategy development, marketing, and acquisitions. Jane has been an Echoing Green fellow, Rainer Arnhold Fellow, and TED Fellow, and was selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. In 2013, she and co-founder Rahul Panciker were recognized by the Schwab Foundation as Social Entrepreneurs of the Year. Jane has an MBA from Stanford University and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University.
